Our take
RecoverX is read-only by design. It tells you when SSD TRIM has zeroed your data. It validates magic bytes to detect cluster reuse. It marks files "Risky" or "Lost" when they really are — saving you from recovering 12 zeroed JPEGs and feeling bad. The free tier actually works for small recoveries. The paid tiers are one-time purchases with lifetime updates.
