Supported Drives
NTFS, FAT32, FAT16 · USB, SD, internal HDD/SSD, external
Before you install
- 1.Don't install on the drive you're recovering from. Installing writes data to the drive, which can overwrite the deleted files you're trying to recover.
- 2.Run as Administrator. Right-click the .exe → "Run as administrator". Raw disk access is otherwise refused by Windows.
- 3.Recover to a different drive. Don't write recovered files back to the source drive — choose a USB stick or another partition.
- 4.SSDs with TRIM: If you deleted files from your internal SSD recently, the data may already be physically erased by TRIM. Try Recycle Bin or Shadow Copies modes first.
